Rocca 1 Vintage series - Available! by Pablo Rocha

This Rocca guitar model 1 - Vintage is quite special. We were motivated to create an ergonomic, highly resonant yet focused sounding instrument that would be suitable for all types of music but especially jazz fusion. If required, the neck can easily detach so the guitar can be stored in a carry-on luggage and brought on-board any plane!

The guitar sports a delicious set of Seymour Duncan pickups, which enable cutting through with stronger tailored mids with an open and airy treble attack.. A truly responsive, relic finished guitar that provides an enticing 'old friend' feel that encourages playing without physical or psychological limitations

The tone is both warm and smooth! The selected woods are seasoned, one-piece, recovered red alder for the body and hard maple neck with dark rosewood fretboard. A 1 11/16" nut, 22 frets and a 24.75" scale add warmth to the mix. This Rocca 1 also has a tremolo system setup for Jeff Beck style explorations.

All Rocca guitars are made in Houston, Texas, one at a time, by us with a lot of passion and attention to detail. And the chosen elements are of the highest order.

We manufacture guitars in very low volumes, enabling us to dedicate all our attention to them. Until we sell these guitars, we will be able to make more. We can’t make guitars to keep in inventory. We are a small business! Every person who decides to acquire a Rocca guitar is not only going to own a unique, hand made instrument, but also will support a ‘Built in America’ business.

All the components we use are made in the U.S.A., from our seasoned woods to the smallest screw. We are proud that all the persons who have supported Rocca Guitars, LLC are great players, who can discern the beauty of a unique, hand made instrument.

If you are a professional musician, and would like to own a Rocca guitar, let us know. We would be happy to agree on a plan to make it happen. Our e mail is: roccaguitars@gmail.com

Bill Pohl shares his experience with Rocca guitars by Pablo Rocha

'“As someone for whom Holdsworth has been a big influence over the last several decades, I became interested in headless guitars a while back…I was contacted by Pablo in advance of a short “tour” I did a few years ago. He brought two ROCCA prototypes to a Houston gig for me to check out, and I was blown away. The attention to detail and the build quality impressed me, as did the tone and feel. It made perfect sense after I heard Pablo play; a gifted guitarist with a subtle and technical approach.”
